Caps lock and VO

Hello,

In OSX Sierra, is there a way to tell if caps lock is on when using VO? I press on the caps lock a few times and VO said caps lock on. I press the caps lock button again but VO is not saying caps lock off. So my questions are how do I turn caps lock on or off and how can I tell if it is on or off.

This happened on a MBP 2012 as well as on imac 2015. Any ideas or suggestions?

Thanks for your help.

Hi,
Press caps lock twice quickly if the VO modifier is set to use capsLock. If it says on, then as you know, every time you type a letter it then will be capitalized. There is a setting to either play a tone, announce cap, or change pitch if a letter ica capital. I usually have it set on none.

Hello,

Okay, that worked. Thanks!

It’s a user error on my part. I would click on the caps lock wait to see if anything happens then press on it again instead of pressing it twice quickly.

Thanks again!
