Can I remove system speech and VoiceOver from Soundsource menu?

Hi Everyone, subject line says it all – I would like to be able to remove or hide VO and system speech from the SoundSource menu. Can I do this? If so, how? Thanks!

as far as I know you can't hide them.
Why do you need/want to hide them?

I wanted to reduce clutter. I've since learned the SoundSource keyboard shortcuts, so it's not something I need to prioritize.

Yeah, same here.
I also wanted to remove unneeded/unwanted sound sources, but found out it was not possible.
