Hi all,
I have a bluetooth numpad that I wanted to pair with my MacBook Pro. I went through everything except entering the 8 digit code, the Mac didn't give me enough time before the code went away. I have a braille display and was trying to read the code on that. Can anybody pair things without having to be super fast? I can get sighted help, but that's just annoying.

I can successfully pair stuff
I can successfully pair stuff in about 15 seconds. All I do is memmorise the coded and not relyon braille. I woudl just rely on the speach to do it and jut memorise it. You won't need to put it in to yoru long term just yoru working memmory.
Take care.
It's working
I must have done something wrong and dismissed the message by mistake or something because it worked today. I can't hear well enough to understand the speech reading the code I mean I can hear it, but I might hear some of the numbers wrong so braille is more reliable for me but I was able to read the code this time so it's all good!

Ah cool cool. Yeah bt stuff
Ah cool cool. Yeah bt stuff can be finiky at times. I also have mild hearing los but have managed to do ear training stuff to keep what I have and try and improve it back to at least 17 instead of the 15k I'm at now.
Again glad you got it working.
