Hello,
I currently use Amadeus pro to do most of my audio editing for my online radio stations. I have used it for years, and am pretty good at the basics, at least when it comes to radio production, which tends to be short and simple. However, I have recently started playing around with some of the recordings of my church's worship team, to see if I can get them to the quality I want to put their music on my station, and have quickly realized that music production is another beast entirely. On Windows, I have used Goldwave. Over all I much prefer doing it with Amadeus on the Mac, but there are some places where Goldwave has some advantages. For example, their compressor has lots of great presets so dummies like me don't have to fiddle around with each and every control to figure it out. In Goldwave, there is a preset to boost quiet parts, reduce loud parts, set hard limit, etc. While I have found some decent Audio Units to add to Amadeus, I haven't found anything that straight forward. So, figured it would be worth reaching out here to see if there are any you awesome people would recommend. I can't afford much, so either free or very low cost please.
