Hello everybody,

We have just released a new version of Audio Rally Racing: not only we have fixed several errors that you audiogamers reported to us, but we have also added some new nice (we hope *smile*) features:

- Championship Mode
- Support to joysticks and steering wheels (we haven't tested them all as you can imagine, but the most popular ones should work; please test the device with the game before purchasing if you are going to get a new one; keep in mind we cannot guarantee to provide support to each and every model)
- As said, many (many) errors fixed, related to several tracks, and when using the shift key from the Main Menu
- Playability greatly improved

Just a few words on the Championship Mode: you start from the first track in the first country, then you need to finish them all, one country after the other, accumulating points. If you complete the full set within one gameplay, you will unlock two further tracks. If you finish them all, you will become World Champion!

I'm going through the championship game mode now and am up to Italy. I can't play the thing in one sitting though, it'll take hours. It's a good little time waster though.

Well, I still can't activate the new version. I'm using 10.10.5 which was released to th epublic last Thursday. I'vw been in touch via email with the team and they clame I'm the only one who has, or who has reported this issue. Here is the issue I'm facing.

It's in a play frame so hope it works.

here is the link to access the file I hope.

Hi.
Yeah, I'd definitely agree with ya on that one. I've never had that happen before. I'm able to CMD+tab around between my safari and the window to enter the code when I bought the game. So, I'm assuming that you have never been able to play this game? Like I said before, you shouldn't have to enter the code more than once
Also, can you hit the command to exit full screen? Does that work? If not, then I really am stumped too.
HTH!

Nope. I tried this. it does not work. All keyboard commands are frozen. No I have never been able to play but I beta tested and did not have any issues. so I really don't know what's going on.

well shoot. I guess try uninstalling and reinstalling the game. Maybe you've tried that before, Other than that, I really don't know what to tell you.

Why isn't this game sold through the app store? That way, you could just download regular updates like you do through the app store on the Mac or iOS. For the windows version, there could just be an option to check for updates. Just my thoughts.

Because of apple's sandboxing there is no way to do what th edev wants to do, plus it cost $99 a year to get even 1 app on the app store. plus apple takes between a few hours and 6 months to approve an update. It would be nice if it were on the app store but apple are strict and I can't see this or any other games for the blind besides the ones made by draconis on the app store. it would be nice though. After all this and other of this dev's games are on ios app store.

@Ke7zum: actually we have just been reported about an error that is similar to the one you are experiencing from another user who is also on v. 10.10.5 of the Mac OS - most unlikely a coincidence.

In any case, we are looking into it. It would seem that that the tool we use for our games, called Unity, is the source of the problem when used under that Mac OS version. We opened a case with their tech support and are waiting for an answer. We will keep you posted.

Thanks for your patience.
