Earlyer today I tried installing a couple of programs on to my mac from the internet. Whether this is because I use Google Chrome, not Safari, I don't know, but it's installed them as discs, not programs. I can open them fine, but there are 2 problems. 1 of the programs I don't need because it wasn't what I wanted, and I can't uninstall it. Obviously because it is a disc it has gone on my desktop as a volume, which I didn't want, and because it is a disc, there is no "move to trash" option. I can eject it, but then it comes back after a while, and it's also not uninstalled this way and waisting space. I looked around Google before posting this and found App Cleaner which I downloaded and turns out to be inaccessible, so I'm stuck with 2 programs I don't need and can't get rid of. Can someone help? Thanks.

1. eject the cidk from the computer list that you see when you hit cmd shift c. Hit cmd e on the mounted disk. 2. to install an app simply copy the app fromthe mounted disk and copy it in to the apps folder which you can get to with cmd shift a. Take care.
