Any other resources for games on the Mac?

Hi all. Can't remember who put a link up but i found a game which I thought was on the Mac, frog's princess. It wasn't and I ended up deleting it after not being able to get it to cooperate with direct touch. Does anyone know any games for the mac that aren't on the app store? They can be but i'm just curious. I've running a Mac m1. As for genres don't worry I'll figure out that aspect myself. Thanks. Btw, I meant the princess game was on the ipHone. but the Mac I'd really lke to find something. I've also never gotten steam to work so I'll skip that one unless someone can help.
