Accessibliy Resizing Bootcamp Partition

Hi all,

I use Windows primarily, and havent' booted into OS X in several years. However I'm quickly running out of space on my Bootcamp partition. Originally I split the space on the drive 50/50 between the two operating systems, but there is 97GB of free space on the OS X partition that I'd like to make use of.

What accessible methods, software etc., would people recommend for accomplishing this without reinstalling Windows or losing data? I believe I can shrink my OS X partition from within Disk Utility, but I'm not sure where to go from there. It of course won't let me extend NTFS partitions, and Windows itself can't do it while the OS is running.

Thanks.

Hi! I have this exact same problem. When I put bootcamp on my mac, though, it was strictly intended to be a back-up machine. Then, a few months later, my desktop computer died, and for a variety of reasons, I just haven't resurrected it yet. Unfortunately, my bootcamp partitian is only 60 GB, and I'm running very, very low on space. I save all music, documents and stuff on external drives, but I still would like to have more room on the windows side of things. There's probably about 300 GB on the mac side of things that I could give over to windows and make my life a lot easier, but I don't know of a safe, accessible way to enlarge bootcamp without losing the data that's already on the windows side of things. If anyone has any advice on how this can be accomplished, it would be extremely appreciated!
