Hi,
I am in search of an app that will let me edit an mov file with audio. I have an hour long home movie, and I just need a five minute clip of it, the clip starts at approximately ten minutes into the video. My question is, is there an app that will let me copy this clip to a new file? Either that, or I need something that will let me cut out all but the specific five minutes of the video that I need. It doesn't matter whether this app is free or paid, I just need to be able to get that five minute clip. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

iMovie
I haven't used it, personally, but if I'm not wrong, I think iMovie is accessible.
I have not used it in a few
I have not used it in a few years, but imovie used to be accessible. give it a shot.
IMovie
IMovie is totally accessible. Although a bit awkward for a new user. I have been editing for 10 yrs on a Windows PC but failing eyesight is making that harder. I very recently switched to a Mac as I knew iMovie is accessible and has all the features I need so I can continue with my hobby.

Hi Maanling,
I just read your post about iMovie.
Can you please do a guide or podcast to help me and fellow blind persons here?
Thanks in advance.
Hatch.
I tried iMovie, yes it is
I tried iMovie, yes it is accessible but there are lots of options and for what I understood you just need to extract a small clip from the video. Try QuickTime, command T to trim and select the start and end time. If the trimming of a hour long video is not as precise as you need just trim it to a smaller video, save it and trim again until you get the desired clip. Not very sophisticated but it worked for me :) good luck
I movi and quick time tutorials please?
One of my dreams is to be able to edit videos on Mac,i tried I Movi but it is very complicated, so can any one guide me to a good podcast or tutorial that explain how this app is working, step by step?
