Hey all, I'm just looking for a simple app that changes the tempo/speed of an mp3 or any audio file. Using Windows way back when, I had a program that you just opened a file in, adjusted the percentage you wanted the tempo to increase by and then saved it to a new file. Any sound editing program I've found so far either forces you to change the pitch as well or distorts the song when it's sped up. I also don't need a full audio editing app since Amadeus Pro is already installed on my computer and does the job perfectly otherwise.
Any help with this would be much appreciated. Thanks!

ITunes plugin
There's an ITunes plugin app that sounds ideal. I added it to the app directory some time back, but I've forgotten its name. Sound something or Speed something, probably. You can likely click on my name to find app directory entries I've added, or just search. It cost $5, as I recall.

ffmpeg -i v1.mp3 -af atempo=0.6 v2.mp3
the above example change speed to 0.6x
simple and transparent.
