Can anyone comment on the accessibility of Mainstage for Mac? It doesn't look like they offer any sort of trial. I could really use a program for building and triggering synth pads, but obviously I don't want to waste the money and time to dig into MainStage only to find that it's not useable. Any personal experience would be great!

question
What is Mainstage and ,what does it do?
I can try
Mainstage is a program that allows control of audio and midi data focused on live performances. I own mainstage, and it seems generally accessible. However, I purchased it for the extra content that comes with it. I have seen only surface controls, which seem somewhat accessible. If you want, you can tell me what you're looking for and I can check some accessibility of the parts. I would guess that most of the features will be accessible, but the complex ones probably won't be completely accessible, similar to the accessibility of garageBand or other iLife programs.
What I Want
Well sadly I don't know enough about MainStage to answer in too much detail - basically I'd just like the ability to create, edit within reason, and trigger synth pad loops for use in live performance.
