I am looking for an Ipad app that enlarges text messages without the need for

What kind of iPad messaging apps are you looking for. Are you looking for some thing like whatsap?

Yes. I am looking for an app that can send messages; however, I am looking for big text as well. I work with an individual who is visually impaired and cannot operate with zoom feature due to impaired finger and thumb dexterity.
