First post here! I have fairly low vision, but do not yet use a screen reader. I operate an iPad Pro in inverse color mode in order to see white text on a black background. The problem I have is that most website use different background colors making it very difficult to read. On my MacBook, I use Firefox with the "Blank Your Monitor" add on which allows me to remove background colors and images. Is there something similar for iOS? Either as a Safari Extension or a separate more accessible web browser? I have been looking for sometime and have not been able to find anything.

Hi. Have you tried the Google Search app? I'm not sure how it'd work with low-vision, but I used it a lot until I got the hang of Safari on my ipad. I still use the app if I need to look at a page that Safari doesn't like or vice versa. Getthe app Google search made just for mobile
It's very accessible with voiceover, and it offers a stripped down version of a site. Hope this helps.
Reader Mode

A parsial solution is the Safari Reader MOde.
Beside the address text box at the top of the screen you'll find a button that turns on the Safari Reader function. It looks like 4 thin lies with the bottom line shorter than the others.
In this mode the text of the wbsite is separated from the distractions and you can control the colors and text size. The Reader Pearance Options button looks like to Capital As.
The Reader mode isn't available on every webpage but a very large number of sites are compatible with it, especially when larger amounts of text are involved.

Thank You, Reader mode is very helpful on style websites it is available. It would really be nice to have the option to remove the CSS background images and colors on all websites thought.
