After a recent YouTube update, I am using an iPhone 13 pro, iOS version 15.6.1 I am suddenly finding that YouTube only displays about five items,. Even though I try and scroll up it makes no difference. many of the links displayed was not open. Is anybody else finding this problem I have checked the screen recognition is off which is always worked before, are there some other settings that may have changed or is this a YouTube problem??
Comments
Scrolling working consistently now. Yay
A couple replies ago I said that I was still experiencing the home tab bug even after updating. Since I restarted my phone yesterday I have not encountered the problem again, so it’s safe to say the update worked for me, too. Now we just have to keep on them about the comment/reply bug.
The problem is resolved
Dear members; Google accessibility has resolved the issue of not being able to scroll videos on the home page.
In the meanwhile I am facing a new challenge where I am not able to comment on the Videos I watched on YouTube; it directly skips to the filter after the comments section. There is no add comment option; I am signed into my Google account.
Had the same issue on SE 2020 and now on 12 running IOS 16.0.2 trying to address it with Google accessibility but they too are stumped as I am about this issue. Can someone here validate if facing the same challenge please?
I had it too.
However, the comment field was at the bottom this time, so I had to scroll through all the comments first. I suppose you can double tap with four fingers at the bottom of the screen, or you can use the rotor to find text fields. Let me know if it works for you.
Comment field
Yeah, they moved the comment field to the bottom of the screen but it is not necessary to scroll to the bottom of the comments to find it. Simply slide your finger around towards the bottom of the screen and it will land on the text box. It’s a little small, but it’s there. One nice thing about this is you can now enter a comment no matter where you are in the list of comments, even if you’ve read halfway through them. You no longer need to scroll all the way to the top to find the comment box. Once I got used to it, I actually don’t mind it.
