Hello. I am looking for an audio editing app that will allow me to import files from dropbox edit and equalize the recording perhaps also add some compression and then exported to a different format. Can somebody recommended appropriate app that will run on iPhone? Thanks.

re: Who makes the best recording app for iOS?
I realize it's overkill, but Garageband from Apple in it's latest update, might just do the trick. (You would have to use an app like Audioshare, to Audiocopy to pasteboard from audio file, then paste, onto a track in GB). I am not sure about any other app that would offer both comp and EQ that's a11Y. :)
I second GarageBand
There are lots of audio apps out there with those features, but the vast majority of them won't work with VoiceOver. If you have partial sight, perhaps you could use some of those apps with the iPhone's built-in screen magnifier. If you rely on VoiceOver, GarageBand is the only fully-featured audio recording and editing workstation that is accessible, to my knowledge. Be aware that accessibility in GarageBand is far from perfect and some areas of the app are difficult to operate, but I haven't encountered anything that was impossible to accomplish -- your VoiceOver skills and patience just need to be very advanced. Good luck, and let me know if you find another good music app that is accessible
