Maybe I'm being negative, but based on what I'm reading about this streaming service makes me think that they're doing it all wrong.
I would love it if they just opened up the iTunes store to stream, like they did with apple music, ok, so perhaps not all of the music available on iTunes is available for streaming, but it is a huge chunk.
Can you emagine if the iTunes store was available for streaming videos? It could seriously put a dent into netflix and amazon.
I can't speak for other countries, but it looks like America is entering what they're starting to call the streaming wars, depending on what you want to watch will depend on what people will sign up for.
I'm in australia, so we don't really have a lot of streaming providers, instead most of the good content is either on Netflix or the major pay tv service, that being Foxtel.
Foxtel is over priced in my opinion for what it offers, sure you can get packages, depending on what you'd watch, but even then, you're going to pay for channels you know you're not going to watch.
I wouldn't say I'm looking forward to it, their keynotes lately haven't exactly been awe inspiring.
The more something is hyped up, the more disappointing it is, I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens.
