First time making a shortcut in the Shortcuts app. I renamed the shortcut, and the text field didn't seem to be anywhere on the screen. The keyboard came up on screen fine, and I typed it in, but I would have liked to check it before saving. So is it just not there, or was I missing it?
Everything else seemed to be there, though I was following sighted-people instructions and had to poke around and flick things to figure it out.

The Shortcuts app, in all its glory
So, the Shortcuts app is quite broken with voiceover. However, I will give you some instructions on how to rename shortcuts. Try this:
1. Open your Shortcuts app, focus on a shortcut, swipe up or down until you hear "Edit Shortcut", and tap on that.
2. On the edit screen, starting from left to right, you will hear an unlabeled button, then the name of your shortcut, then a "Done" button. Tap on the name of your shortcut, and then tap on rename in the dialogue that pops up.
3. Now you will be on an edit field, and you could give it whatever name you want.
4. After typing in the new name, tap on done in the bottom right corner (it will replace your enter key).
5. Now tap on the "Done" button from step 2 above. That should do it for you.
If you have already been doing the steps, and your keyboard is just not showing up, or the edit field is not showing up in step 3, try using explorer by touch and double check to make sure that you double tapped on "rename" and not share or something else from step 2.
HTH
Thanks
I guess I just didn't look by touch enough when I did it, though I did successfully rename the shortcut. If I remember, there were the various elements of the shortcut on the screen and the keyboard at the bottom, and swiping around showed them, but I just couldn't find the text field I was typing in.
Oh well.
