I finally upgraded to IOS 18.2 from IOS 17!
Take a minute. Catfh your breath. We have time.
Now that I'm using IOS 18.2, I'm running into a situation where, as for example logging onto applevis.com when using my iPhone 15 pro, applevis.com on safari prompts me to enter a password. First I enter my user name; then I have to enter my password. But wait! I don't remember my password!
So, intrepid explorer that I am, I go in search of my Apple Keychain so I can look up that pesky password, and lo! What do I find? Everything BUT my Apple Keychain!
I like to think I'm smart part of the time, so I'm thinking maybe I just didn't look in the right place. Any fellow intrepid IOS 18.2 explorers out there know where I can look up my Applevis.com password on my iPhoe 15 pro?
Before you ask, yes, I know, I'm posting this on applevis.com, so I ust have logged on, but wait! No! I'm using my Mac, not my phone, and yes! I can use my Mac's keychain when I'm where my Mac is, but I need to find that password when I am where my Mac is not.
Your help will be appreciated.
Thank you!
Bruce

Passwords
Hi there,
Look for the Apple Passwords app. Everything that was Keychain has been moved there, if I'm not mistaken.
Hope this helps!
As mentioned by Gar, there'sā¦
As mentioned by Gar, there's a new Passwords app that is the new interface for passwords on macOS and iOS. It has many features that Keychain Access lacked and is closer to being a proper password manager app akin to 1 Password, etc.
passwords app
On ios everything is on the passwords app as mentioned by others. However on mac there are still things in the keychain app... I'm wondering why though?
Re: entering passwords
Maybe a stupid question, but why go to the app to enter in the password? If I tap on a username or password field then look above the on-screen password I can just enter it in directly from there.
End of the story
So, searching for what I now know is called the password app, not the apple keychain (thanks to all of your posts), I discovered that I somehow had previously deleted the passwords app from my iPhone, which is probably why nothing happened when I reached the point of entering my password when logging onto a web site. Consequently, I redownloaded the password app and proceeded with web site log in in a manner we all expect. Smile. Thank you all!
