I only use Weather Gods. I use it on my phone to check the day, and week ahead. I track conditions at home, and in several other locations in a couple of different countries that I am interested in. I also use its alerts too. I like the daily forecast to start my morning. Then, on my watch, I like the detailed current conditions complication. It's like the best of both worlds for my usage.
I have two favorite weather apps. I use weather gods to get my daily forcast and current weather conditions. I use weather radio to get alerts about any nasty weather for my location as well as a few I like to keep an eye on.
I use Weather Gods too! For general weather, that's all I use!
But, I liven in Ohio, and the weather here is a bit unpredictable at times. So, I have to have an app for severe weather alerts. For that, I use Emergency by the american red cross. And because like some people on here, I have bad allergies. So, I have to have an app for pollen/other allergen counts. For that, I use Allergy pollen count.
But, you want my fave weather app, it's Weather Gods hands down. I got someone else I know in Canada using it too. And they love it! Weather gods is what I was looking for in a weather app. I got that, and took off all other general weather apps! I can't wait until support for severe weather alerts and things like allergy forecasts are added. I'm excited to see what this app has in store for the future!
I just use Apple's native iOS weather app for now, but have heard and read great things about Weather Gods and Carrot Weather. Hopefully my financials will permit me to get one or both of those. But I find the native weather app works great with VoiceOver, and it suits my needs very well.
Weather Gods for me. is easy to use, Scott is very helpful if there is a problem and I like it that I do not have to have it running. Like also the siri shortcut.
Hi, my favorite weather app is carrot Weather! She is everywhere, including my Mac and appleWatch, and integrates Dark Sky as a data source by default. Plus, her snark and gamification of weather forecasting cannot be overstated. I do have weather Gods on my phone though, and use it particularly in the winter when I want to know if it is snowing outside right at this moment. The notifications from city to city are nice as well.
Itβs Weather Gods for me all the way! I love the new sounds that give a boring weather forecast a whole new dimension. The forcasts, themselves, are very accurate and the notifications are usually spot on.
Just a quick note to say thank you for supporting Weather Gods as your favourite app - it's great to get lovely feedback and encourages us to keep developing the app.
I have had to slow down a bit recently as I needed to find a new job (to pay the bills) which I now have - but now need to learn a whole bunch of new stuff, which is interesting and exciting, but also a lot of work outside the normal office hours.
I hope to have a new update in the next couple of weeks which will add support for the new iPads - I love Apple, but wish they would slow down on new devices LOL! I'm also adding the ability to independently toggle notifications for specific locations - a feature we have been asked for a lot. In addition, I am going to try and add the latest observation data to the 'now' screen. This would give you the current forecast, but also the latest report from your nearest weather station, and this would be a Voiceover only feature for the time being. Dawn, I haven't forgotten severe weather alerts and it's pretty close to the top of my todo list now - I just need Apple to ease off from bringing out new devices :)
First of all, I will agree with others that Weather Gods is my go to app for forecast information, but I must admit I like the today widget from DarkSky, and for severe weather alerts i like Weather Radio.
As for some Weather Gods feedback, and yes it is positive, Scott, my niece even likes the app, and she is fully sighted. She likes the "cute little icons." I told my sister about it once when she visited, and she and her daughter both have and enjoy the app now. I appreciate that you've taken the time to make a weather app that is visually appealing while also ensuring those of us who use screen reading technology get the full benefits too. Thank you.
Hi again. I thought I'd come back here and put in a plug for Weather Gods. I just purchased this app and love it. The sounds are very realistic, and accessibility with VoiceOver is clearly at the forefront. The app notifications are great too. I still like Apple's native iOS weather app, but Weather Gods takes the cake in my books. The gods/goddesses are certainly looking out for us!
Well the same. I like for it respond and also appreciate Scott respond when an issue occurs. I have it in my iPhone Xx and my nice christmas present apple watch 3.

I agree with response 2
The only reason that Weather Gods is not my first choice is that Weather Radio offers alerts for more weather conditions.
