Hi all, I am looking for an app that I can use to get free music for my iPhone. I have found many on the app store, but none of them seem to work with voiceover or at all. If anyone has any suggestions, they would be very much appreciated. Thanks.
Really Spotify is the best one I can think of if you want free. You'll get adds, but then you get what you pay for, right? You'll also have access to all the music you'll ever want, and really, the adds aren't that frequent. If you can spare a couple bucks a month, I'd highly recommend signing up for Spotify Premium or Apple music. Better sound quality, no ads, and artists get paid a bit for the music you stream. Otherwise if you barely have money to feed yourself, I'm sure you'd find stuff on Soundcloud and Youtube to listen to. Most music's on there somewhere. There's also free radio apps, though some other kind soul will have to enlighten you a bit on what they are.
Here's the apps I'm using. I use the feer tier on all of these and they work pretty well with voiceover.
I use: Pandora, RadioTunes, TuneIn andiHeart Radio. I'm a music freak, and I use both these apps for their different qualities. I use the free tier on all of these, and they work well with voiceover. And Pandora, TuneIn and Iheart Radio work with the Amazon Echo also! You can find info on all these apps in the AppbeVis directory. If you've got any other questions regarding these apps, me or others on here would be happy to answer them for you! But in general, I found that Spotify works very poorly with voiceover. Hope this helps.
I use My Media. I haven't found a way to get music directly from there, I just convert the videos I want, but you can store them easily and the music player function is awesome. I use it every day, so if you don't mind getting your music from somewhere else i recommend it
