Hi everyone
J.J. Meddaugh and I are working on a project for next month's CSUN conference to build a collection of tools that help small businesses and entrepreneurs. We are looking for accessible applications and resources that enable people to start and manage their businesses.

Do you have any suggestions? Keep in mind, this could include everything from accounting to note taking and communication tools.

Full Disclosure: I work for Intuit and JJ runs AT Guys. While Intuit apps will be featured, this project is meant to highlight all good products.

It may not be immediately what you had in mind, but I would recommend Analytics for Google Analytics by Jan-Niklas.

This is based upon the likelihood that many of your target audience will have their own websites (either for basic promotional reasons or for actually delivering services/products), in which case it is important that they track the performance of the websites (in terms of who is visiting and what they are looking at). Google Analytics is a good and powerful tool for this, but it’s web interface can be hard work for screen reader users. This app, however, is very VoiceOver friendly, and makes it easy to drill down into the metrics of your website.

Here is the link: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/analytics-for-google-analytics/id898185967?mt=8

This is a great addition. We are looking at web platforms and this will certainly be useful. I'm also going to share this with someone I know on the Google Analytics team that is a long time accessibility advocate.

dropbox is good for saving files and anything such as pics or recordings of memos. also dropvox with a v as victor is good to records memos.

We had planned on highlighting DropBox, but I didn't know about DropVox. This is very helpful.

Hello
We are finalizing our presentation for tomorrow at CSUN. We've taken your suggestions and have added them to our small business tool kit: http://bizability.org. This is a living document and we look forward to more feedback and suggestions in the future.
