the Weather Gods didn't want me to purchase Weather gods

I wonder if anybody else has experienced this situation. I was attempting to buy Weather Gods. For some reason known only to apple, I was told that my credit card was expiring and to update my payment. Aple was wrong my credit card was not about to expire. I updated it on the app store screen and it still wouldn't take the update. I went into settings and into the app store settings for payment and chose the expiration date all over again for my credit card. the phone accepted it this time despite the fact that it was the same one I had put in all along.
I guess the Weather Gods didn't want me to have the Weather Gods app.
I do have the app and like it a lot. Between Weather Gods and NOAA Weather International, I'm all set. Developer Scott, if Weather Gods ever forecasts snow in Los Angeles you will be hearing from me.
Actually, according to google, and even Siri, the last time it did snow here was in 1962 and I do remember that occasion.

I got to update my card also. It is strange.

Just as strange is that Weather Gods doesn't appear on any of the usual list of weather apps where Apple would show new or updated weather apps.

I emailed them about it and sometimes it happens.

Perhaps Apple are conspiring against us all (smile).

Yes, please let me know John if you get a snow notification for LA!
