a way to read document in Pages for iOs

I am using pages with a bluetooth keyboard to my iPad. It works really great.
The only thing I cannot seem to figure out is if there is a way to actually get VoiceOver to read the document for me?
Note: I do NOT have a computer, just iOs.
Edit: With this, I mean reading it without having to press the down arrow button like crazy and then just get short sections read.

I'm on an iPhone not a pad, but VO plus A should read the document from the cursor down. It needs to be in the editing mode from what I can tell, and I've had trouble with it skipping things in the past.
I prefer to use touch gestures in combination with the keyboard commands, so a two finger swipe down will get you there too.
