I would like to report a new problem involving volume control in the control center and its announcement by VoiceOver. This problem appears in iOS 17.1.
What happens now, as shown in the screen recording Attaches to this email, is that VoiceOver announces the previous volume level When we make adjustment with the volume buttons.
Steps to reproduce:
1) make sure that VoiceOver is enabled;
2) open the control center and position the VoiceOver focus on the volume control, usually located in the central right corner of the screen;
3) use the volume up and down buttons located on the left side of the iPhone. Note that VoiceOver continues to announce the previous volume level when we check this control, even if the volume changes normally and the change is noticeable.
The expected behavior is for VoiceOver to correctly read the volume change, but this has not occurred. The only way to solve this issue is by closing and reopening the control center or aging your finger up or down the volume control.
