I have been working with somebody who needs voice control to control the iPhone and iPad but also needs voiceover to navigate. iOS 12 no issues. iOS 13 the commands changed to specific voiceover commands but was still functional albeit wordy. iOS 14 I can’t get it to recognise any of the voiceover commands at all so they are unable to navigate as a they can’t see the screen to use show names etc.
Has anybody else experienced this or found a workaround. I tried apple accessibility support but I’ve had radio silence from them for a number of weeks and some people are more helpful than others.
Thanks

Voiceover with Voice Control
I can confirm, running the latest version of IOS, Voice Control does not recognize any of the Voiceover commands I attempt to say such as swipe right, swipe left, double tap, etc. I am curious to know why this is. This use to be an excellent feature I previously used, but not in recent times. Maybe someone else can weigh in on what we might be doing wrong or what has changed since IOS 14.
Any update on this?

Voice control update
Hi all,
Voice control is not functionally working with VoiceOver. The previous commands of VoiceOver swipe right, VoiceOver swipe down are not working. We’ll see if iOS 16 can fix it in future betas.
Seems to work
The voice control commands are now voiceover select. For example, voiceover select next item or voiceover select previous item. It’s described in voice control, accessibility
Thanks. I’ll do some more testing!
Didn’t realize the VoiceOver commands had changed in voice control. I’ll take a look at that!
