It seems like with the update to iOS 10.1.1, voiceover is speaking on and on and on, as if there was no punctuation. I wonder if it's just me or is this happening to other people to? I also noticed that apostrophes in words like don't and can't are behaving improperly so you hear Done TN can tea.
I can't even edit this document right now because VoiceOver navigation isn't working. All I hear is clicks when I try to move by character, word, or a line. Interesting that the commas in that last sentence did cause pauses in the speech where they should be.

VoiceOver Speech
Hello,
First, there appears to be a bug with multi-line text fields and navigation. You should report that to Apple. The work around seems to be toggling VoiceOver off and on again.
As for punctuation, try adding the punctuation setting to the rotor and change it to some or most.
VO. won't shut up!
Try using siri to turn voiceover off/on. Or you can re-start your device. Gosh, that has to be so unbelievably ANNOYING!
Adding to this:
VO does stop talking with the standard tap. It's just the cadence or rhythm of reading is messed up and more unnatural now.
I tried different voices and they all don't pause at the end of sentences.
Sentences run together.
Seems to work now.
Thanks Chris and Don. I turned voiceover on and off a couple times. reset punctuation. And did a hard reset of my phone with the home and power button's. That seems to have fixed it but I'm not sure just what step did it.
Bob
I'll report that bug. Didn't
I'll report that bug. Didn't see mention of it in the iOS 10 bugs topic.
