All:
I'm setting up a presentation over Zoom and am looking to have my meeting participants hear Voiceover speech as I am demonstrating a few different apps. My initial thought was to use Zoom's share iPhone feature. When I set this up, my iPhones screen is in the meeting and any music I play is played, but Voiceover speech is not. Thinking this may be a Zoom problem, I tried connecting my phone to an AppleTV using AirPlay and Voiceover speech was still not coming through. The interesting part, when connected, there is a rotor item called audio destination. The two choices are default and external. This doesn't seem to have any effect.
Has anyone been successful in getting Voiceover speech to come over a Airplay connection?
Thanks.

Hi, it's been a while since I used airplay.
What I use to do is toggle voiceover off, then back on.
Once Voiceover was on, the speech would then come from your airplay destination.
I don't know if things have changed since then, airplay 2 wasn't a thing, but that's what would happen.
If it does still work, the only thing you'll need to deal with is the slight delay when swiping, but you get that with bluetooth and casting to a chromecast.
For presentations, it should be fine, unless you're trying to play some games where you need to react quickly, in which case, you'll probably get killed a lot more than usual.
Thank you!
Thanks Kool_Turk, turning Voiceover off and then back on seemed to do the trick.
Appreciate the tip.
