Hi everyone,
Whenever my alarm goes off on either my iPad or iPhone, voiceover speaks very loudly until I swipe to the stop button. Once I double tap stop, it begins speaking at normal volume again. I'm not too sure, but I think this problem happens when the phone rings as well, and sometimes, Siri's volume is unpredictable as well. Thanks in advance for any help.

audio ducking & Siri
I have a couple things you can try.
First, voiceover & your alarm
This is just a theory, but have you looked at your audio ducking settings? See if they're turned on or off. If off, toggle it on & set an alarm & see what happens for your phone & your ipad. If it's not on your rotor, go to settings general accessibility voiceover & find audio'ducking.
Second, Siri's up-and-down volume
You can change Siri's volume & you can do it without going into a sejtings menu! Just activate Siri with the home button or `Hen Siri` & ask her a question. Foh this I usually ask what time it is since she gives voice feedback to that. Then as she's talking, just adjust one of the volume buttons & she'll increase or decrease. All you have to do after, ii just hit the home button. It won't change the volume of voiceover so don't fret over that.
Good luck & hope this helps.
Voice over and alarm
Hi Jason. The previous poster was right on one thing, setting the volume of siri. The alarm though voice over has always been loud when the alarm goes off. It's not a bug or anything. Think about this, if you have a song playin as your alarm, you want to be able to hear voice over above the sound of the alarm right? :)
