Hi all,

I am using an Iphone 13 mini. This phone is updated to the latest IOS release.

The challenge i am facing is that the voiceover is reading only one out of 2 languages. while the main langae of the iphone is english, so it reads english perfectly but it is just not automatically switching to the alternate language Hindi in my case. The synthesizer i am using is Vocaliser & both of the synthesizer languages are from the same synth. In case i add Hindi to the roter, I am able to manually able to swtch to hindi at will. but this switch over doesn't happen automatically.

Please advice & suggest.

Just choose Hindi from the rotor languages and use your iPhone like that until Apple fixes the auto-language switching thing with an update. I don't even quite know how it works and whether toggling it on actually makes a difference.

“I’ve also faced this problem since IOS 16, on iOS beta 4. I’ve submitted more than 5 to 6 feedbacks, but they haven’t been resolved yet.”

Hi all,

This bug of Auto-language switching not working occurs only in case of a few people. Everyone is not facing it. while my wife's phone has this bug. There are a lot of my other friends aren't facing this issue.

I wanted Voiceover to alternate between English & Hindi. Upon inquiring about this, I was told to set the Voiceover language as English US rather than English India. as soon as i did that, the issue got resolved & voiceover started reading & switching between both of the languages as & when presented.

Thank you everyone for your help.
