Here are the bugs in ios 11 that I would like to see squashed in ios12, let me know if any of you are having the same bugs. This is an iPhone SE.
-The app switcher still has focus issues, you can close an app you thought you closed because vo said it was that app but it turns out it was the wrong one.
-if you go out of the app switcher and open another app, vo sometimes will still read the contents of the app switcher until you move around on the screen.
-the alex voice will sometimes lose speech and you have to restart vo.
-vo will sometimes get stuck in focus but this has been around even before ios11.

I don't know if this is necessarily a bug, but Touch ID seems to be a bit broken. Or perhaps I'm missing something. This is my first iPhone, and I only got it on March 31 of this year and have been sporadically getting to know it. I just wrote the accessibility team at Apple about this, and I've posted about it on the site. But other than that I've had no issues. I have seen the focus issue a little bit, but it doesn't bother me in the least. But to each his or her own.

I've notice the touch id is finiky when the phone is flat lying on a table.

Can I also add to this list voice-over freezing up occasionally in Safari, I think it has something to do with images or Ads.
Also get this very unusual bug when Iā€™m trying to type on the keyboard, when I move my finger around to find a particular letter, voice-over will read the correct letter to me but when I double tap on it, sometimes It will insert the letter next to it instead of the letter I wanted.

I've gotten this a couple times already too. I thought I'd post an email I just wrote to Apple's accessibility folks about this whole touch-typing thing and about the website Touch ID. It just seems to be very broken at least with VoiceOver turned on or off. Either that, or I'm just really not getting something here. In any case, here's what I wrote to them. This also brings up the point about log-in times and such, and is something which really needs to be looked into. Apple's site isn't the only one that has this issue either. I'm trying to download some of the free apps mentioned in the AppleVis directory, and can't because of this.

To Whom It May Concern,

I'm writing in concerning a problem I'm having with Touch ID on my iPhone 7. I'm not sure this is an accessibility issue per se, but perhaps it is. I'm trying to set up touch ID for websites, so that I don't have to log in manually every session. Due to slight manual dexterity issues, I'm having trouble with the keyboards unless I flick to the QWERTY keyboard and type that way. But that is a bit slow for things like entering log-in credentials. When I attempted to input my password earlier this week on a website which I frequently visit, I found a button labeled "Passwords." I clicked this button and was taken to an area where I could enter all my log-in credentials. Then when I came back later, I saw that they had been saved. Touch ID for websites seems to be enabled, because I placed one of my fingers on the Home button of my phone and it unlocked these settings. However, when I go to those sites and try to log in using the Touch ID method, it doesn't work and I have to resort back to manually inputting this information. I am a VoiceOver user and just got this phone on March 31 of this year. Other than the afore-mentioned issue, I'm having very good luck with this phone. It has a lot of nice features, and VoiceOver and Siri are working great. Thank you in advance for looking into this, and keep up the great work.

Sincerely yours

'Safari doesn't ask for touchId to confirm password entry into websites. This will be enabled in ios 12.

I cant get my sensor to always recognize my print unless i pick up the phone off my chest yes i lay in bed and use my phone quite often, but hey. if i am at my desk it does the same thing i have to at least lift it by one finger. I have two prints in the phone one of my left index finger and one of my right depending on the angle of my phone I have the bug where alex loses speach sometimes and I have to restart vo but thats not major to me. sometimes it doesnt see i am only using one finger or that i am using multiple fingers so i wonder if its a dirty screen and i am going to pick up electronic wipes to clean my case i am not sure how to clean it. one time i used a damp cloth and a baby wipe in a pinch but i may have to do that again since its pretty dirty from skin oil and such. If you are using a case clean all of it. I use an otterbox defender case I always heard those were the best when i got my first iphone.

I'm about 90% there I think with this website touch ID thing. Perhaps I'll try holding my iPhone on my chest in bed, and in other positions. Lol thanks for the suggestion. But how does one distinguish between a website that is touch ID-enabled, and one that isn't? Or do you just have to make a guess?
