Hi, This is my first time posting to the forum. So, I hope I am doing this correctly. I use the VO calendar app on my iPhone and in the last month or two I have noticed that events are being added without me doing so. I have it synced to the Apple calendar and don't use that one but when I go over to it the events are not there. I can't figure out where the events are coming from and how they are placed on the calendar. I read the info here on AppleVIS about the Vo calendar and the link to the web developer is broken.
So, my question is does anyone here use this calendar? If so are you having the same problems? Any suggestions to remedy this would be very helpful.

Deleting is the only solution
I think those entries are coming from the emails or whatsapp groups that you belong to.
Deleting VO Calendar entries
Justin, thank you for the reply. I was thinking along those lines
First, I don't use VO…
First, I don't use VO Calendar, but I can make a couple of suggestions.
If the app has any settings, go in there and check which calendars it's looking at. There's all kinds of stuff it could be, like calendars you've subscribed to or Apples holiday calendar or even the built in birthday calendar. Since I'm not sure what kind of stuff it's adding, I'm not sure exactly what you need to look for.
If it doesn't have any settings like that, you can go into the actual iOS calendar app and tap on calendars to see what's in there. I think you can usually delete them from there if that's what you want to do.
As for why the events wouldn't appear in the calendar app, the calendar they're in probably isn't selected. The built in app lets you select and deselect calendars whenever you want to cut down on clutter. For example, I have a family events calendar I'm subscribed to that tells me about activities in my area, but I only ever select it when I want to see it and keep it hidden when I'm trying to work out what I'm doing during the week.
Check VO Calendar Settings
Hi Yvonnezed, Thanks for your help. I checked the VO calendar settings and they actually have little to nothing there. But I do understand what you are saying about the calendars and saw them in the actual iPhone calendar. All this info has been good and helpful. But I think moving forward I will start using another calendar. I am going to investigate some options.
