VO behaving strangely

So this issue just started for me. When VO tells me that something happened say, 2 hours ago, it will say 2 hrs ago instead of 2 hours ago. Or when it says OCT, for October, it will say o c t instead. This just happened and I'm using 13.2.

Yes, I noticed the same thing. I consider it a bug. It annoys me very much. Worse is that trying to fix it in the pronunciation dictionary doesn’t work well. When I wrote okt to make it just pronounce the abbreviation as I am fairly used to, voiceover also spelled that. It’s just wrong!

I reported this on the 4th build of 13.2 beta. FB 7408949
Also the word gun is spelled out.

Check if tanother voice does the same. I am using male siri and not having this issue today. This morning, my issue was after restarting my iPhone he was no longer working and Siri female became the default voice. Eventually after more than 10 minutes I check the rotor and he came back. Yes voiceover is not doing well with unlucky 13. I feel for you.

I have also noticed Oct being spelled out.
Another one I noticed was the word pedometer, as in the app, has emphasis on the first syllable which sounds weird.
I’m using the Samantha enhanced voice. I’ve switched to Alex because of this and it doesn’t seem to be having these problems.

When I was using the app vorail, Alex spell the app and did not said the name. This was in iOS 12. This is why I did not use him.
