hi,
Is there a way to use google tts with voiceover? I know that apple allows to connect third party tts to voiceover on ios 16.
I'm especially interested in the hebrew voice that google offers. I know that it does work with talkback on android
I didn't find a tts app on the app store. does anyone know anything about it?

VO does not work with Third-Party voices.

Please get your facts right before posting. VO absolutely does work with third party TTS Espeak is one example. Now the correct answer would be that Google TTS isn't on iOS at this time as I don't recall it being availavle but saying it doesn't work with Third party TTS is out of date. the link is below for Espeak.

I used Rh Voice only briefly, think it was with NVDA. But all this stuff coming out is so awesome! I have eSpeak installed on this Mac, so I can and will verify that indeed it is supported by VoiceOver. Maybe not quite like some want it, but it's working great on my end. I'm currently using Eloquence to type this, with absolutely no complaints.

I directly wrote to Google Support to ask whether they had any plans on porting Google TTS to iOS, to which they responded that they would inform me if they ever did.

Far as I know, Google currently has one of the most natural sounding TTS for my local language. I doubt if they will ever do, but who knows 🤭.
