Hi. I'm trying to figure out Google Sheets on the iPhone, with and without using a bluetooth keyboard. I'm sure it's just that I'm really tired and missing something obvious, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to input data into cells. Doubletappingb only selects it, and another doubletap brings up menu options. I'm flummoxed. I got the impression from the Google accessibility section on using Sheets on iOS with a BT keyboard that some of the mac keyboard commands would apply to the phone as well. But still nothing on how to type in a cell, and several of the commands listed used the control+option keys which would make it a voiceover command, so I don't even know how they would think that would work ... except maybe if you set your modifier key to caps lock beforehand? ... Anyway, any help would be greatly appreciated, or even if someone could direct me to a link with more detail than what Google has on it's accessibility page. Thanks so much!

double tap twice
Yes, double tap twice and then again, choose the option formula and then you can edit.
Holy cow... You have to do
Holy cow... You have to do all of that everytime you want to type something in a cell?
another thing to try
I have noticed some text entries requier the following:
touble-tap-and-hold
then, very quickly, as soon as u hear it click, double tap again.
then you can enter the text.
No idea if this will work.
What is google sheets used for anyway?
