two finger double tap disabled?

Okay, not sure what happened, or whether this was due to my turning autolock on or what, but, now it seems no matter what I do, whether I'm in iCatcher, or music so far, the two finger double-tap gesture does not work anymore for some reason. I'm using iOS7, of course. Yes, it was working for me until I'd say yesterday. Anyone else experiencing this problem?

If the focus is on an app that plays music, etc, then this gesture doesn't work, at least this is my observation. It'll work when focus isn't on those apps.

I ended up just rebooting the phone which appears to have fixed the disabling of the two finger double tap problem All is right with the world thus far.
I've seen this same problem with IOS 7. I also notice that at the same time the playback controls on my bluetooth headset stop working. Additionally, the controls on the lock screen seem to fail. The only remedy is to reboot the phone. I've had it happen a couple of times now.
