I really hope the answer to this question is yes. One thing that IOS7 does every time you plug in your device is ask you every time weather or not you want to trust the machine too which you are plugging in your device. Can this be turned off somehow. I can see if your plugging into a new computer you have never used before, but every time I plug into any of my computers, weather windows or mac, it asks me the same annoying question, and I always have to answer accordingly. I have looked under privacy settings and all over the place, but haven't found anything. Does anyone know any secrets to possibley turning off this annoying feature? Thanks

I have not ever noticed that prompt come up. Is it in iTunes or is it showing up on your phone?

It happends on the iPhone. it always says something like, "Your settings and data will be accessible from this computer." Then there are two buttons. Trust, and Don't trust. This also happends on windows computers that do not have itunes installed. No matter what, any time I plug into any computer, I get the same prompt.
I've never heard of such a thing. Maybe try Googling that message and see if they offer a solution? Sorry I can't be of more help. Good luck.

Ah mine does it as well; very annoying; thought there was something wrong with my phone.
Hi I have seen this incovinience too. and I don't know why but I seen when or could be the reason why happens. whenever are using weather Mac or windows whenever you are working or using the machine so plug the iOS device only seen on iOS7 it could be because plug your device before that machine turn on or even when restore and leave your iOS device plug on it. try always plug the iOS device after the machine will complete turn on or whenever restore unplug the iOS device before to do it. try this and let me know if works for you.
I've seen this happen too, it started when I upgraded to iOS 7.0.3. I'd leave my phone plugged in 24/7 to avoid the prompt but that's not always practical, especially if I have to be out somewhere. The prompt only comes up when you plug your phone in via USB so if we can find a way to shut that feature off it'd be great.
hi, with a little bit of googling, i came up with this. it's basicly for your own good. here is why. Apple adds Trusted Devices in iOS 7 Researchers from Georgia Tech University demonstrated a fake charging dock which, when connected to an iPhone running the “latest version” of iOS, injected a virus into the phone. The virus was capable of automating multiple tasks like simulating touches, making calls, replacing apps with their fake versions, etc. without any human interaction – all in spite of the highly restricted iOS ecosystem. The fake dock was actually a computer disguised as a charging station that was capable of injecting software into the phone. The virus does not require the device to be jailbroken. On iOS 7, Apple has taken care of this vulnerability. Every time you connect your Apple device with a computer, a message pops up asking you to “Trust the currently connected computer”. Trust this computer? Your settings and data will be accessible from this computer when connected. ~ iOS 7 Hence, no external device / program will be able to make changes to your iDevice unless it is trusted by the user, an act which requires manual intervention.

I don't get that message when connecting to my Mac mini, I think I did get it the first time, though, but I don't get it now. But when I connect the phone to my PC at work I get it each time, - with that PC I'm using a third party charging cable, on my Mac at home I use my original cable that came with the 5S, I'll try with the PC with the original cable tomorrow and see if it makes a difference.
hi, yes, use only apple cert cables. never third party, as they are not chipped with the propper chips that iOS is looking for.

I also get that message sometimes. I think due to the fact that my windows 10 updates and that may affect my PC. Well if you say no, deal with the problem that will occur. To be safe, I do say yes.

Heard that now you will be able to use face ID to trust a computer instead of the code. I might be wrong but that is what heard. Someone please confirm.
