Trouble connecting a keyboard to Garage Band for iPhone

I'm hoping somebody here might know something. I tried submitting a bug report on Apple, but I got stuck when I reached the question of which Mac and version of Garage Band I'm using. Apparently "iPhone is not a valid response".

I have a Korg SV2 that I'm trying to get to work with my iPhone 11 running iOS 14.7. Sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes if I restart the phone and keyboard, everything is good. Sometimes not. I'm using a USB MIDI to lightning cable. It works fine on my Yamaha Reface. The most frustrating part of this is I can't even begin to troubleshoot. Is there some list of connected devices somewhere that would tell me there's an issue? If the SV2 wasn't class compliant, then surely it wouldn't work at all, would it? Is there a better way to submit a bug report to Apple? Thanks.

Hi!
Maybe it is a definite limitation.
Are you sure that producer of your device supports connecting to ios system?
Id est, does it stand written in your device manual that this device can be connected to IOS?
If it's possible, then it sounds strange.
If it doesn't stand written that your device can be connected ...
Then you have use midi cable to socket your device to your iPhone.
For example, it stands written in my device manual I can use that one with iPhone.
Cheers!
