Just a quick tip for people like me who like to listen to nice sounds in the background: Nature Space is an app which provides super sound quality for nature sounds. It can run in the background and uses its own volume. I don‘t like Audioducking very much and so this is a great solution. Right now while I‘m writing this I listen to a forest in the morning. Really relaxing. The app provides lots of sounds like waves, camp fire, rivers and much mor. I‘m not connected to the developer. I just wanted to let you know of this nice way of enjoying working with an iPad even more. All the best Jürgen

Love the app
It rocks. I often listen in headphones but will try that on my iPad with built in stereo speakers.
Very good app indeed
I love the ability to mix the sounds in with other apps and such. I did this podcast back in 2015, but nothing has changed since that time. Even the free sounds are nice.
Sounds great, and also serves purpose
I bought the entire package of sound files a few years ago and still use the app to this day. It currently sits on my Home screen. Besides just being very relaxing, the playing of gentle nature sounds also keeps my iPhones Bluetooth link to my hearing aids from disconnecting while I am editing text. Just a pleasant side effect.
The volume of this app can be set very low and can keep running while other apps with sound are still running. I'd suggest that folks try it with the free sounds, see if it takes on a more significant role in their iPhone environment and then ponder what other nature sounds they would like to own. I am particularly drawn to thunderstorms, waves on a beach and a file called "Serpentine" which includes night insects with a lonely, distant train in the background.
