Hello my good apple people. I'm using an accessible app called Sedg to obtain some cool ring tones. I've managed to save the tones within the app but I need some guidance in getting them on my Mac. I'm a new Mac user so any instructions will help. I'm using the file sharing Feacher. I can see the tones but I don't know how to save them for syncing. Thanks guys.

I'm not a mac user but it should still be the same.

You need to find the ringtone using iTunes sharing, then save it to your computer.

Once it's on your computer, you need to put it back into iTunes.

It's very fiddly, and annoying, but it's apple.

They don't make things easy.

I myself use a program called Apandora instead of iTunes to get the ringtones onto my phone.

Why? because it's easier.

Sure the program is a little fiddly, but I've also gotten use to it.

You can even install ringtones for other people this way.

I've always bought my ring tones right from the iTunes store. Are these ring tones apps safe, for both the phone, and computer? What I mean is, are the actual files safe for the computer, as far as being free from viruses and other malware?

After you email the tones to yourself, copy them in to the automatically add to itunes folder. They will be put in the correct place in your library the next time you start itunes.

Hope that helps.
