Is There a Way to Sync Contacts Across My Windows and Apple Devices?

I use outlook on my Windows PC; the mail app. on my iPhone and sometimes use the web browser to check, write and reply to my mail. My question is:

Is there a way that my mail, iPhone, outlook and web contacts are the same and are always synced to reflect the same contacts? Meaning have the same contacts throughout all my devices

I believe as long as you have your contacts turned on in iCloud on all the devices you mentioned, you should be good to go.

If you have your gMail and/or Yahoo accounts linked to iOS, linking these accounts under windows 10 will sync everything. Mail, contacts, calendars.

There are several methods for syncing Outlook Contacts and Calendars with your iDevices. The simplest (as previous posters have indicated) is to be running iCloud on your PC. Then you will see an iCloud folder / Account appear in Outlook and there will be folders for your iCloud Contacts and Calendars under this account. If you want to sync these iCloud Contacts and Calendar with the default Outlook Calendar and Contacts, then use CodeTwoSync. This works as an Outlook plug-in and can be found at: https://www.codetwo.com/outlook-sync/ I have been using CodeTwoSync for many years. --Pete

I was using icloud control panel for outlook before. one thing i changed from icloud control panel for outlook to evo collaborator for outlook is because entries can only be created in "iCloud" folder. and i cannot assign outlook's default folder to sync with icloud. this will cause issue when invitation comes in from my e-mail that such invitations will only go to outlook's default folder. with the new outlook add-in, i get to select outlook's default folder. if you come across with the same issue, you can give it a try.

This is why in a way, I have recently switched from using icloud to gmail.

When I was using the outlook app for IOS with my icloud email, the way in which I had it setup, wasn't playing nicely with this app. Started using my gmail address and it works great.

I believe but can't confirm this because I haven't used windows in a long time. Gmail is best for cross platform purposes. Where as icloud is really best with only apple stuff. Don't know how true this statement is, maybe it has changed in recent times but the user should go with what works best for them.

I hope you get it all sorted out and to your liking.

.CSV and vCard, both are universal format, so you need to export contact into .CSV format after that you can easily import in any desktop email client or online email service like Gmail.

I just spoke with CodeTwoSync customer support (855-344-6637) and was told that they no longer support this product, nior could they offer me any guidance on using the product to sync iCloud Contacts with Outlook.

Moreover, iCloud for Windows will not sync with Outlook because iCloud for Windows insists that I do not have a default Outlook profile ... but I actually do have a default Outlook profile.

My decision and recommendation for others : switch to Android mobile phone and sell your iPhone.
