A strange issue with the Spotify app and switching between songs

hello everyone,
So I'm not sure if it is just me experiencing this repetitive issue, but I figured it was best I posted it here to see if anyone has any recommendations and/or workarounds.
Lately, when I've started playing a playlist, swiping left and right on the Now Playing screen has a chance of causing the app to go to the next or previous song in the playlist.
I've found that if you let VoiceOver's focus wander on its own, there are situations where it will make the app skip all the way back to the first song in the playlist, regardless of your current position. For instance, it does not care if you are halfway through, it will just jump all the way back to the first song it can find.
Now usually, if I'm just playing a regular playlist, I just leave Spotify running in the background to avoid this issue. But in the case where I have, say, Smart Shuffle enabled, and I want to add a new song to the playlist, I then have to move through the screen. Due to this issue, I have to move carefully, making sure to steer clear of the edges of the window, otherwise it jumps around. Getting to the Add playlist button involves a rather hacky process, and the only way I've found to prevent the app from skipping upon re-entering it, is to quickly start exploring by touch, as a way to force VoiceOver to focus on something other than the top or bottom. However, as you have probably guessed, this doesn't always work, as VoiceOver may sometimes be faster than you when it focuses.
Anyways, long story short, does anyone have any fixes to it, or any other workarounds that are easier?
Thanks.

made a post on this topic recently, and honestly, if I can warn you from experience, their customer service team is about as useful as me after many many beers. They just seem to love giving the same responses, for example, I made a point after they told me we don't know if or when this would be fixed, that if the app was broken for everyone else, they'd have a next day update out I'm sure, apparently, this was, to quote spotify, a very nice question! So don't get your hopes up for any kind of fix at any point soon. I've jumped over to Apple Music now, because I'd quite like to enjoy music without all of these issues.

Regarding Spotify,
Does the move-in/move out gesture work to get around this issue at all? By default, it is two finger swipe left, and two finger swipe right. It is essentially iPhones version of interact found on macOS.

Regarding Apple Music,
If you subscribe to Apple Music, the Shazam shortcut is super beneficial for you. When you run, "hey Siri, Shazam", You get three options in the notification, a "Play on Apple Music" button, an "Add to Apple Music library" button, and a "Copy to clipboard" button. that last one is good for, say, texting your friends the name of a song you happen to hear while you're out and about in the world. ☺️

So I've noticed this issue recently, so I found if you turn off voice Over, then just bring up the player and turn Voice Over back on the issue doesn't happen, so I imagine it has something to do with how voice Over interacts with the music player of Spotify.

Hello,
I've also been experiencing this issue. I normally try to use explore by touch to get around it. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

Having this too though friends of mine don't at all. Explore by touch is the best not very reliable but still the best workaround. Direct touch off/on doesn't seem to change anything.

I did try Apple Music about half a year ago, even subscribed to it to find out what it was like. Apple Music Student proved relatively cheap so I figured I'd give it a spin.
But I found out that I preferred Spotify over it in terms of layout and simplicity. However, this is solely my opinion, and I am not forcing it on anyone else.
I will try this VoiceOver on and off trick that Joker Alice mentioned, and also test out the other workarounds made in this topic.
Thank you everyone.
