Storage full even though you have plenty of storage space left

Hey guys, has any of you had this issue with iOS 15 where it says your storage is full but you have at least five gigs or so left? How do I get it to stop nagging me about storage full? I'm running iOS 15 on an iPad pro six GEN. It's really becoming annoying.

you have to actually reboot the phone and you don't actually have 5 gigs free but probably 1 or so. go to settings, general, storage, and you will see what I mean. I uninstall the apps I don't use just to clean up some storage. I've cleaned up over 50 gigs of storage this way.

Hey, I just saw your message. I have restarted the device lots of times and I check the storage after that and it still says I have 27.3 gigs of 32 gigs used. I have cleared out apps and everything and it still doing it.

Hi all!
I have the exact same issue on my iPhone 13 256 GB!
It says that 9 GB is used by iOS and about 128 gb is loaded with system data.
70 GB is free, that shouldn't be true! My iPhone 8 never had this problem, it was also 256 GB and everything was fine!
I tried to restore from an iTunes copy but it didn't help.
That's a really annoying bug.

Well, my Device is pretty old but it runs everything perfectly except for the fact that the mic status doesn't actually come up in a call and this annoying storage bug.

My wife has been seeing this same notice on her iPhone 11 Pro Max ever since she upgraded to iOS 15. She's now running iOS 15.2 and it's still happening. Her iPhone storage used is 43GB out of 64GB. That shouldn't trigger this notice.
