Spell check and word count on ipad or phone is it possible?

Hi I'm just exploring word and the pages app and trying to figure out if spell checking and word count is possible?
I have looked everywhere and can't find any option.

For Word count:
1. Find the 'View Options', double tap that and then double tap on 'Word Count'.
Note: There are other choices in that menu as well.
For Spell check:
1. Double tap on More > Settings.
2. Enable 'Auto Correct'.
3. Navigate through your document and Auto Correct will do its thing.
Note: Be careful as Auto Correct can sometimes think a correctly spelled word is a misspelling.
Is this on both the pages or word app? I'm exploring this in case I need to write a big document or need to edit because my BrailleNote gives me problems so this is back up. Is there a spell checker similar to that? Thank you and I will be following your advice.
Navigating by misspelled words used to only work partway through book-sized documents on Pages for iOS. I thinnk it was iOS 14... Is this still the case?

On an iPad: 1. Go to the Review tab. 2. Double tap Spell Check. 3. Turn on Spelling.
