having ai voices read my Kindle books?
I feel so behind the times. No matter how hard I try to keep up, it seems that the capabilities of technology are passing me by. how would I go about setting this up. I almost never get Kindle books; in general, I only get them when it's become pretty obvious that something I want to read is never going to be released on Audible. I just opened the app, and I can't find anything pertaining to AI narration reading books aloud. Is this a premium feature, or do I need a different iOS app to make it work? Any advice/assistance would be very much appreciated.
Kindle Assistive Reader
While I am not very familiar with all of the "reader apps" out there, I do read a ton of Kindle books with the Alexa app on my iPhone. Though not as snazzy as human voice actors (litterally) acting out some of the drama, using Kindle Assistive Reader through Alexa has been nice, for the most part. I too love Audible, but I find myself too impatient for some of my preferred authors, which is why I am reading Kindle books these days to begin with.
Having shared all of that, what I would love to see is an app that can read Kindle books in more natural sounding voices, without all of the pre-programmed acronyms.
Those can really take me out of a book, ya know?
