I have used The Podcast App that comes with every iPhone for years. Recently, I can’t find the spot where you can go forward or backward by 10 seconds. In that spot where it used to be, it shows just the date. They probably moved it, since they can’t leave well enough alone. I’m thinking of downloading a different app. Does anyone have suggestions? I found the app that is just called Podcast App. It looks usable, but of course it wants you to login or create an account. I would rather not have to do that.

I use the Aplle podcasts app all the time.
The skip back/forward buttons have not moved, they're just no longer labelled. If you expand the mini player, they're directly to the left and right of the play button.
You can also start playing an episode, and then go to control center and control playback from there, where the buttons are correctly labelled.
