Something Kind Of Creepy Just Happened With My IPhone Voiceover

I was scrolling through Netflix and looking for a show to watch when I noticed I was interrupting it saying something. So I stopped and let it read it out. After it said the show name and display details, it said "One of these days you'll love all seventy three inches of yourself." I thought that it might have something to do with the show, so I went to the next show and it said "I love you Jody." After the show name and the display details hint.I've scrolled over those two shows again and it didn't say it that time. I tried looking through my notifications and other things to see if that's what it was but there was nothing remotely similar. I am very creeped out right now. Especially since there's someone in my contacts named Jody. She's my OM teacher.I know this probably sounds like I'm trying to be a troll or tell a ghost story but I swear I heard it. I might have imagined it since I am a bit tired right now. Well not really anymore since I'm a bit freaked out but you know what I mean.

I have had the same thing happened to me while using Netflix and scrolling down. Apparently, voiceover is reading some of the dialogs from shows on Netflix. But there is nothing creepy about it. Don't worry. Voiceover is not trying to scare you. LOL.

if you google either of those creepy phrases, you will discover they are the promo lines for the Netflix show Tall Girl.

The most likely explanation is that VoiceOver is simply reading out Netflix promo material as it appears om the screen.

An alternative theory is that your Friend Jodie has been taken to the Upside Down and, without access to Christmas lights or butchers paper, is trying to contact you before the Shadow Monster finds Her. But that hardly ever happens these days...

I have heard some weird things on here also.
Doesn't worry me much as I won't be putting any financial data on here.

At first I thought a Netflix engineer got bored and decided to hide an easteregg in the hints for a control. But what you're probably hearing is VoiceOver reading out the closed captions for the trailers. The sound is muted, but while you scroll Netflix plays previews of shows you're scrolling through. You can turn the reading of captions off either in VoiceOver settings under verbosity, or while you're in netflix do the rotor gesture and find media descriptions and swipe down until you get to the "off" setting.
