Siri and VoiceOver

I've been reading on a lot of mainstream technology blogs, websites etc that Siri now vibrates when activated, as opposed to the double-beep we've all come to know and, occasionally, love, depending on how good Siri is to us. When experimenting with this, I discovered that when VoiceOver is enabled, the double-beep sounds are still there as usual. I tried disabling VoiceOver and indeed a vibration was all there was to announce Siri's activation. Additionally, since the launch of iOS 9, the double-beep has become slightly buggy, sometimes not sounding or sounding after a long delay. I presume this has something to do with the fact that it is only used by VoiceOver users. Does anyone know how I can disable the double-beep, and use the new vibrations? I must say that I prefer the virations over the beeps.

Hi there, as far as I know there is no way to disable the beeps. I really wish Apple would let us do that as well. I would also prefer the vibrations as well. They seem to be a little bit more responsive in the beeps.

In the first beta of 9.0 Siri did vibrate even with vo running, after that it was back to the beeps, I like the vibration better, it makes me wonder if they got complaints from beta testers about the vibrations so that's why they switched it back? I do agree though they should make a setting in Siri's settings to turn this on or off.
