siri is sometimes too smart for her own good

when i want to set a new calendar event, i can say "new appointment", "new event", "set calendar", etc, cool. but siri wants to decide where it goes based on the context.
for example if i say new appointment then hair cut at 3pm tomorrow, siri will set it up in my calendar; but if i say new appointment then call my hair stylist at 11:30am, siri insists on setting it up as a reminder...the problem is i want it to be on my calendar, not reminder! is there something better to say so that siri won't second guess me?

At least on iOS 6, you can of course tell Siri about relations to you, like "My father is Humpty Dumpty" or "My daughter is Mary, Mary, quite contrary." Assuming those people are in your contacts, and she has a contact for you, she'll update your info. That's all well and good. But you can also say things like "My dentist is Jack Sprat," "My doctor is Peter Peter Pumpkin Eater." Assuming those people are in your contacts, she'll add that to your info. This works for unusual things too, not just the normal types of people you might associate with. As far as I can tell, it works for any word or set of words Siri can understand. To test this, I just told Siri, "My angry barber is..." and gave the name of someone in my contacts. She offered to remember that, and I could have then later said, "Call my angry barber," and she'd know who I meant.

yeah, i know. unfortunately, siri can't add locations to your info. if i say "remind me to turn on camera when i arrive at Ruth's Chris, siri wouldn't understand what ruth's chris is even though it is in my contacts with full street address, i'll have to manually add it to my info. i actually called Apple about this. as far as i'm concerned, siri should just look through my contacts and find the location, it shouldn't need to add it to my info at all. why create duplicate?
