Hello Guys, I'm from Mexico. I have installed IOS7 on my Iphone 5 and hearing some of your podcasts I noticed that the characteristic for changing Siri's gender is not available for my language (spanish). I would like to know if it is true by asking to other no-english native speakers if it is also missing in other IOS languages configuration and also if so, when will no-english users would have this functionality for our languages? I haven't try the premium voice downloads but I would like also to know if it applies to no-english configurations. I don’t understand why Apple throw this updates for all users around the world but they don’t include all changes for minimum the 5 more used languages Thank you in advance.

I'm a Cantonese user and same here, no alternatives are provided. Premium voice is offered and downloaded but I don't really realize the changes so far. Sigh.

The English UK, and English Austrailian have no gender choice either. English US and English Canadian are the only English seri voices that have both genders.

Hola Karina, saludos desde Guadalajara, Jalisco! Back in June in the WWDC keynote, when iOS 7 was first introduced, they said that the new Siri voices would only be available for the moment in U.S. English, French and German I believe, us Spanish speaking users are still stuck with the same voices for now, although apparently they will add more languages later. PS: what part of Mexico are you from? Regards!
