Hello everyone. I am looking for a simple-to-use app that is accurate enough to where I don't have to do a lot of moving around, and is simple enough without a lot of complex features. All I need is a simple app, probably O C R, that will read gift cards to me. KNFB reader would most likely do it, but I was hoping for something a bit more simple that also works with voiceover. I am also looking for one preferably that will not require you to have the gift card oriented correctly to necessarily geet an accurate reading. Thanks!

Hi. Have you looked at Seeing AI.? It lets you lay the document down and you move the camera over it, and the app tells you how to orient your phone. Then once it says hold steady it takes a photo and processes it. You'll get the text out of it that way and it keeps original formatting. It's made by Microsoft and best yet unlike KNFB. Reader, it's free!! And who doesn't love free? You can even take an image from your fotos and share it if you turn this on in your share sheet. You can find out more info on AppleVis.
